Bounce Back

Waypoint Message

Everyone faces letdowns; disappointments, mistakes, or things that don’t go as planned. But what if those tough moments weren’t just failures? What if they were lessons in disguise?
Learning from letdowns means looking back with curiosity, not judgment. It means asking, “What did I learn?” instead of “Why did I mess up?” A growth mindset helps us see mistakes as part of learning. This approach builds resilience, confidence, and the belief that we can keep improving, even after we fall.

Success Strategies

1. Letter to Future Me: Write a note to your future self about something hard you went through and what you learned from it. Add a few words of encouragement like, “You’ve got this,” or “Keep growing.”

2. Progress Pebbles: Each time you bounce back from a tough moment, no matter how small, drop a pebble, bead, or paper clip into a jar. Over time, you’ll see how much strength you’re building.

3. What Can I Do Next Time? Draw two columns. In one, write about a time something didn’t go well. In the second, write one thing you’ll try differently if it happens again.
