Reclaim Your Thoughts

Waypoint Message
Sometimes we get caught up in thoughts that aren’t actually true, like “I’m not good enough” or “Everyone is judging me.” These thoughts can feel real, but that doesn’t make them facts. Learning to pause, notice, and challenge these thoughts helps us take back control and feel calmer and more confident. You are not your thoughts, you are the observer of them.
Success Strategies
1. Ask the 4 Questions
When you notice a stressful thought, ask:
Is it true?
Can I absolutely know it’s true?
How do I react when I believe this thought?
Who would I be without it?
2. Name the Thought
Label your thought like a cloud passing by: “That’s my ‘not-good-enough’ thought again.” Let it float by without holding onto it.
3. Mindful Pause
When a thought overwhelms you, pause. Take a deep breath. Remind yourself, “This is just a thought. I don’t have to believe everything I think.”
